Down to Earth Conservation Education
Loretta Penny heard about The Good Neighbours' Club through media coverage from our Day of the Homeless and visited us at 170 Jarvis Street. Like so many others, she was hooked.
She has visited the Club several times, bringing contributions of cash and clothing from her work with schools through her company, Down to Earth Conservation Education. She has been a godsend.
Down to Earth Conservation Education offers fun-filled curriculum based learning experiences for elementary and secondary students - as well as Corporate Events! All presentations are based on personal research expeditions around the world--and now that world includes Jarvis Street.
Loretta personally interviewed willing members of the Club for her newest program, called "In My Shoes," a holistic approach to erasing the stigma of ignorance and prejudice.
