Direct Energy
Former Board Chair Chuck Hill made contact for us with Direct Energy, who sent us a team of volunteers to work with us at The Good Neighbours' Club. Unlike other corporate volunteer efforts, these friendly faces arrived on a Saturday--on their day off.
Not only did they bring their winning smiles and positive attitudes, but they brought a small mountain of clothing for distribution to our members.
After preparing and serving lunch, they engaged the men in one of their favourite pastimes, a game of Bingo, for which--you guessed it--Direct Energy brought the prizes.
Easygoing and enthusiastic, all at the same time, this team from Direct Energy gave The Good Neighbours' Club a real charge.
