How You Can Help

You can help The Good Neighbours' Club help older, homeless and marginalized men. We rely on a network of contributors and volunteers to deliver goods and services to our members.

First, you can visit us. Once you've seen what we do, you'll want to spread the word. Second, you can donate. Your financial support is critical to our work. Third, you can support us. There are many ways to volunteer, both on- and off-site.

Let us know your thoughts: chances are we can help you help the homeless.
Visit
Come down to 170 Jarvis Street and see the work that we do. There's nothing more powerful than seeing the action at the Club first hand.

Come and join the lunch crew, or host a game of Bingo, or accompany a field trip. You'll be impressed with the variety of professional backgrounds, levels of education, and family circumstances of our fellows. Serve a meal or work in our Clothing Room.

Seeing and enjoying our members for the gentlemen they can be is an experience that can't be put into words.
Visitors should beware, however, that there have been many reports of stolen hearts.
Donate
The Good Neighbours' Club appreciates your financial support.
You might like to know that in percentage terms The Good Neighbours' Club spends less than half of what most charities spend on administration.

You can donate online through Canada Helps, or you can donate through The United Way payroll deduction plan at work. We can set you up with a direct Pre-Authorized Remittance Plan for monthly gifts

Support

Even if you don't have deep pockets yourself, there is plenty you can do.

1. Talk us up among your colleagues and friends. Tweet about us or mention us on Facebook.

2. Organize a collection of casual clothes, winter coats, boots and shoes at your school or place of work.

3. Host a cocktail party and invite a Club staff member to make a brief presentation.

4. Join us for a 5k stroll at the Toronto Challenge in June.

5. Call us to brainstorm other imaginative ideas.
