Our Executive

Adrienne McLennan

Upon her appointment to the Toronto Police Service as Director of Public Affairs, Adrienne McLennan was the highest ranking woman and civilian on any Canadian police force. Previously, she was the Director of Communications for the City of Scarborough. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the RCMI and holds the Queen’s Jubilee Medal. She has served as Director of Public Relations to the Ontario Chiefs of Police Association as well as consultant to a number of police services in Southern Ontario.

Edward Carter

Edward Carter has been a Board Member of The Good Neighbours’ Club since 2003 and has served ably as the organization’s Treasurer. As a Certified General Accountant (FCGA), Mr. Carter is member of the Certified General Accountants of Ontario and serves on their prestigious Board of Directors. A team player with a keen interest in the common good, Ed has offered his financial expertise not only to the Board but also to staff in the daily financial operations of the organization. Mr. Carter is an accountant at the Royal Bank of Canada and an avid runner.

Daniel Demers

A recent addition to the Board of Directors of The Good Neighbours’ Club, Dan Demers has been working with the TD Bank Group for over 19 years in different markets throughout Ontario and Quebec. He started his career in Branch Banking and has had the opportunity to work in many different areas including the Phone Channel, Operations, Sales Support, and Retail Banking Products & Services.  Outside of work, Dan enjoys running, skiing and playing a little hockey, but most of his time is spent with his wife Linda and their two daughters.

 

Adam Foley

Adam Foley joined the Good Neighbours’ Club Board of Directors in 2010.  He has holds a Chartered Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.  Following positions in public accounting in Canada and Bermuda, Mr. Foley now works for Rosen & Associates Limited in litigation accounting in Toronto, Ontario.  Mr. Foley spends his spare time travelling, running and watching the Toronto Blue Jays.

Nicholas Golding

Nick Golding joined the Good Neighbours’ Club Board of Directors in early 2011.  He holds a Bachelors Degree from Queen’s University and has spent over 20 years working in finance, focusing on corporate capital raising and advisory work in the U.S market.  Mr. Golding currently works for U.S. based investment banking firm Piper Jaffray.  He spends his spare time with his wife and two children and also enjoys running, guitar, and wilderness camping

 

Dennis Holmes

Dennis Holmes, M.A., A.M.C.T. is a Member of the Board of Director’s of The Good Neighbours’ Club and offers his expertise on the Board’s Finance Committee. Mr. Holmes is the Director of Business Affairs and Financial Management for the Regional Municipality of Durham (Social Services Department) and has previously worked in corporate, community, and financial services for the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and the City of Toronto. A lifelong learner, Mr. Holmes is keenly interested in political science and has also worked in municipal finance and budgeting in Budapest, Hungary.

Nora Smith

Nora Smith joined the Board of Directors at The Good Neighbours’ Club in 2009.  She currently serves as the Chair of Fundraising and Public Relations. An award-winning Writer/Creative Director, Nora has created campaigns for blue-chip companies across Canada for over two decades at Canada’s top advertising agencies. She also writes features and has written for Yahoo Health online and the LA Times. Nora has a BA in Communications from Concordia University in Montreal.
